I am really interested interested in italian culture and all that has to offer. My girlfirend's family come from a strong Italian background. So I know much about family dynamics, food, music and day to day interactions. Through observing them at family functions. Also From my Italian classes. Not many: Pinnoccio and a few others I cant remeber their names. I like the film where the lady goes on vacation with her family. Then she gets left at the rest area, so she ditches her family and goes on a solo mini vacation which turns into a permanent one. The movie was well film and really explain the lifes of Italians in the big city and those of italians in the more small provinces.

haha I liked that film too. Its great that you are interested in Italy even though it's not in your family background. Being with someone of a different background must show you a bunch of new things about that culture.
